Our client is a leading European manufacturer of office equipment and stationery. It employs about 3.000 people worldwide and has 10 production plants in Europe and Asia. Due to its rapid expansion plan, we are searching for a high-qualified Managing Director for the Indonesian subsidiary and plant. Knowledge in wood process technology is a key factor for high-quality standard in this business. Managing Director
(Jakarta Raya – Jakarta, Indonesia)
Responsibilities:
* Full responsibility of productivity, production planning, maintenance of production machines, sales processing, logistics etc.
* Full responsibility of all commercial aspects of the subsidiary
* Implementation of strategic and operational targets given by the European HQs
* In charge of raw-material purchasing/ procurement
* Overall responsible for quality assurance and setting up the quality system
* Human resources responsibility of about 60-100 operators/ factory workers
* Budget, forecast and investment planning
* Implementation of Kanban, Kaizen or Lean system/ 6-Sigma
* Continuous improvement of efficiency and production output
* Direct reporting to European headquarters
Requirements:
o University degree in Engineering: automation process, production technology or industrial engineering is requested
o Ideally, MBA degree in addition
o Strong business management skills (P&L, controlling, budgeting, cost accounting etc.)
o Profound knowledge and certification in modern production process such as Kanban, Kaizen, Lean, FiFo or KVP and Six-Sigma (black belt)
o Ideally, knowledge in wood process treatment and technology ( production of households furniture products)
o Strong management skills and leadership personality
o Minimum 8-10 years work experience as Production Engineer or Quality Engineer in medium-sized or multinational western organizations
o Minimum 4-6 years work experience in Europe or United States
o Fluent English skills and other European language are an advantage
o Applicants must be willing to work in Jakarta,Indonesia
o Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Management and Manufacturing/Production Operations in consumer goods industry
